The GSA Group at this Charter School are called ‘Pride Not Prejudice’ and their campaign of ‘Bee Yourself’ was really successful. At the school fair they set up a stall to engage with the community to share the importance of authenticity, how to get involved in the group and there was even an opportunity to name the group mascot. The Bee theme competition was very popular and the mascot was named BuzzLightQueer!
