We are thrilled to announce our brand new members of the Scottish Youth Parliament – Skye Morgan and Amy Winter!
Skye and Amy were elected by their peers to represent LGBT Youth Scotland and LGBTQ+ young people across the country and will serve a term of two years before elections re-open in 2025.
We are so thrilled for both of them and can’t wait to see what they do. Here’s what they had to say:

“I am absolutely overjoyed to have been elected MSYP, I am honoured to be able to represent all the fantastic LGBTQ+ young people in Scotland. I will do my absolute best to be able to have more inclusion within the school curriculum. Thank you.”
“I am absolutely delighted to have been re-elected as MSYP for LGBTYS, I can’t wait to get stuck in and get the voices of young LGBT people heard by decision makers. My hopes for this term is to shed some light on the crisis points affecting those within the LGBT community, including gender affirming health care and mental health. I hope that spreading awareness and having in-depth conversations with those who are in positions of power can help being a brighter future to all lgbt young people.”
