The countdown to Purple Friday is on.
While we can’t be together celebrating in person this year, our staff are gearing up to take part in an epic virtual team challenge: the Pass The Torch Relay! Our team have pledged to complete a total distance of 3,500 km and raise £3,500 this February.
They’ll be doing a mix of walking, running, cycling, open-water swimming (yes, you’ve read that right!), rowing, roller-skating, VR boxing, strength and weights training, Les Mill workouts and hiking to reach their goal.
2020 has been a challenging year and the ongoing restrictions are tough on our mental health and wellbeing. The Pass The Torch Relay is a brilliant opportunity to get active and beat the lockdown blues, whilst building up our spirits and giving us something fun to focus on as a team.
All money raised will support our life-changing youth work services. We have supported young people via our trailblazing ‘Pride & Pixels’ online community on Discord throughout the pandemic, and with your help we will continue to do so.
