Spotlight on Edinburgh’s Urban Nature Project 2025–26!
From getting our hands muddy in the garden to discovering edible plants and heading out on a very cool bat walk with Historic Environment Scotland, this project was all about learning by doing. Young people explored the wild side of the city, built new skills, and grew in confidence as environmental champions.
Along the way, they connected with nature, worked together, and learned how protecting urban green spaces helps everyone thrive. Curious, collaborative, and full of heart, this project supported young people to make a positive impact on their communities, now and for the future.
