Why do you want to make Scotland the best place for LGBTQ+ young people to flourish and thrive?
I have always been driven by helping young people achieve their full potential – if each individual is able to be their very best then everyone benefits and hopefully this in turn creates a virtuous cycle to pay it forward to the next generation.
What is your experience?
I have 30+ years corporate experience working in operations, strategy and transformation in financial services.
What do you do for fun?
I love to travel and experience other cultures and history. I also love exploring Scotland in my campervan.
What mattered most to you when you were a young person?
I wanted to get a good education and a good job where I could achieve my potential – and to live in a country where who I was and who I loved was supported.
